About Infrared Sauna

An infrared sauna, also called a far-infrared sauna, uses invisible light to create dry heat. Infrared provides all of the advantages of a regular sauna, but with a lower temperature, and without steam and high humidty. Benefits of an infrared sauna include antiaging of the skin, and relation of tense muscles. It is also a great way to detox, and flush toxins from the body.

What is the difference between an Infrared Sauna & a regular sauna?

Traditional saunas use heaters with high temperatures to heat the air in the sauna. The air in these traditional saunas run between

170 ° to 190 ° F. The body heats up while the hot air fills the room which causes the body to sweat. Infrared saunas use a heater that creates infrared waves that heat the body directly. The infrared rays are the same rays that come from the sun, but without the UV radiation. These rays penetrate the skin deeply, and warm the body internally. The temperature within our infrared sauna is around 100 ° to 130 ° F.
